Hey guys, I posted a while ago on a mare I though I'd be riding on, but today we found out she has additude problems and I dont feel safe near her anymore

anyway, I've switched to an old gelding. I'll be ordering my gear soon and I've seen those really cool fly guards... we'll just be riding around the field... and I'm short on funds... but they would make him so much more comfortable... and their cute... I need an outside view here. To guard or not to guard?
