I called all our farm stores yesterday and found out who was having chicks and when. Next Wed. I 'm going to two different stores to see what they have. I'm betting I come home with at least 6 more chicks and possible 12!!

Thank goodness all the TSC's around me aren't carrying any more babies since Easter. Make sure you post pics of the ....ummmmm, bags of feed, yeah!

made the TSC run today to see if they had any chicks.an by the time i got there they was sold out
.only had 12 mixed poults left.an i walked out with nothing since i have 5 turkeys.

I may have to run to my feed store to buy a few "bags of feed" too, I heard they just got in a new order and I am running out. Haha

Ok so this is what I got.

They only had 2 chicks left. Strun. white rocks. I already have tempted fate with 4 strun Americanas*.

Now I just have to stalk the Post office for my other babies. You know for a fix. lol

One of my BO chicks died the other day, so I got suckered in to TSC's chick days also- I was actually pleasantly surprised. I asked the lady near the bin of little red chicks if they were straight run, and she responded by telling me that "the red sex-links are all pullets." It was one of the first times I've had a TSC employee who not only had the answer to my question, but also used the right terms!
