Hi everybody!

Just looking for some advice! I've recently just let my broody hatch some eggs (Legbars and silkies) and I have a legbar cockerel chick. Id like to keep him if it's not going to be a problem.
You see, I have a flock of 7 hens and one bantam cockerel. I'm planning on keeping a couple of the legbar hens as well as a silkie. Will the cockerels be ok?

Thanks

It's been our experience if the cockerels grow up as friends together that they have a very good chance of being fine together if there's a fair amount of room. Just have a "bachelor pad" available if you need to separate someone.

I forgot to mention that during the day they have free range of 2acres of land and only at night are they in a hen house.. Well Cyril (the bantam) has seen him since he was born.. But guessing he doesn't know the chick is a "he" yet lol! Oh I hope they do work and get on! Legbar cockerels are just so pretty :)
