I have Rhode Island Red purebreds, but I would like to have my new (mutt) chickens freerange as well..If I plan on selling baby chicks, how important is having purebreds? Do mixed breeds usually sell as well and for the same price as purebreds?

I guess that probably depends on what breeds you are mixing. Some people may not want a particular type of bird in their flock.
But as far as which ones shouldn't be crossed, I don't know.
