To move or NOT!

Mc Goo

The kids love it no doubt. They are sometimes torn because of loosing friends but want the adventure of moving also. My oldest doesn't see that she will be moving in HS. Something I had to do, and was not really happy about it.

The dh he really wants to do it but is reserving his enthusiasm till I decide.

We will be tilling a garden and planting flowers. There is no benefit for me in planting fruit trees and such, they will produce after we move back. We are also allowed to farm it and raise animals. I would love to raise a pig or lamb for meat. My yougest would like a horse

As far a schools the older girls are set the school system is really as good as the one they are currently in. Belle, my youngest will either be placed in public school special needs or I will have to pay for it with the gas savings.

Thanks to everyone for the responses.

The house is probably close to 3,00sqft. It has a kit/family room, living room, formal dining room, butlers pantry, central vac, 5 bathrooms (one in each bedroom), library, 3 bedrooms, 3 car garage. It is really great, has been vacant for 5yrs. It was built in the 1800 with a 1970 addition.

All appliances are 70's and the bathroom are pink, powder blue and black/red. I think they will replace the appliances, not sure yet. But if I live there they must be replaced, I will pay for them. And a they will professionly clean it, its disguising right now, and would take me a week to do it myself.

Ah, I think I am talking myself into it,

Fun, fun fun. We had a similar situation and loved the new area so much after two years that we sold the old house and figured out a way to stay. No doubt you will have the skills to manage a farm by the time your hubby's job wraps up.
