Curious-how many of you refrigerate your freshly layed eggs and how long do they remain fresh using your method of storage?

I read in Story's Guide to Raising Chickens (a must have book!) that every day outside of the fridge is equal to 1 week inside. In other words, your eggs will keep way longer inside the fridge. I don't see any advantage in keeping them out on the counter.

I keep mine on the counter unwashed for various amounts of time. Depends on how much room in fridge, when I get aroung to washing them ect. They are fine on the counter for a while then I put them I the fridge.

I don't bother refrigerating. They have been on the counter for up to a week, usually are eaten or sold before then.

Just started collecting my very first eggs in the pas few weeks,

I take them from the nest box daily, and straight into the fridge myself.

My question is how long will they last in the fridge?
