Hi all! I currently have 12 Coturnix quail eggs that I'm incubating; nine of those eggs were set Dec. 3rd, while the other three were set between Dec. 6th-9th.
I only have one incubator, but I had figured that I'd be able to turn the "younger" eggs manually after lockdown begins for the original nine eggs. Thing is, I've just been informed that I'll be out of town Dec. 18th-20th.... lockdown begins Dec. 17th. Will the younger three eggs be alright if left unturned for those two days..? I kinda feel guilty for setting them now knowing that I'll be unable to turn them...:(

I’m not sure about quail but with ducks you can stop turning early by a few days as
The most important part is at the start of development so they don’t stick to one side
But maybe others who have hatched quail can better answer this for you

Thank you! Hopefully that's the case. It would save so much worrying😅

What kind of incubator? If it's the styrofoam type, can you take the turner apart and leave only one rail in there for the younger eggs?

No. It's a Kebonnix. The roller is detachable though.
