to vent or not to vent???

i just moved a dozen eggs to my LG for lockdown. do I remove the front vent plug or not? i thought because the low number of eggs i could keep it in????

I use a hovabator.. not sure what an LG looks like but, I removed my front vent cover with 12 eggs. All is well.

I just check the humidity and if it's low I put the plug in, if it's high I take it out. I also put my bator on top of blocks making sure not to cover the holes on the bottom. Does your have a fan?

no fan, i may try raising my bator. i will use canning lids and see how that works, thanks!!!
