I would say it's probably a female that hasn't started laying. Plus I don't think they always get the 'egg bag'.

ok here we are again. On saturday I locked down 36 eggs. 45 to 50% humidity (because I couldn't get it any lower in this incubator. During the first 28 days humidity was about 35% in a different incubator. ) On Wednesday I had 4 pip through the shell. I have 2 hatched and doing really well, 1 zipped and just waiting that I think will be just fine. 1 died after piping (probably 24 hours after) and the rest NOTHING!! Why is my hatch rate so low? I sure don't understand why they are making it this long and quitting late. Also any thoughts on the pip that died? My hatching incubator is at 80% humidity which I did not jack up that high until the first external pip. Am I mssing something?? I think I would be better off eating scrambled goose eggs for breakfast...
