ok, so since i was testing poops for the sick chick, as well as the other chicks, i threw in a bunch of adult samples too, since they free range. Some of the adults came back positive for roundworms.
I have the chicken health handbook, and Damerow says that i should only worm if the chicken's healthy is obviously affected (ruffled feathers, thin, less laying etc). Well, my chickens look like the picture of health, shiny feathered etc. So should i wait to worm or just go ahead with it? I have DE mixed in their feed. Not sure that really does anything for worms, but i do it anyways.
I have the wazine already, so i was going to start tomorrow, but now the book is confusing me!
