I live in south Florida, and it's been raining like crazy. I now apparently have waterfront property. There are tadpoles everywhere and giant poisonous toads all over my yard. Dozens and dozens of them.

I am worried for the chickens and more so for my chihuahuas who would be more likely to try to play with one.

What should I do with the toads? Relocate them? Kill them? I have no idea what to do. =/

Do not under any circumstances LICK the TOADS!!!
It's animal abuse

those toads will kill anything that ingests them. by no means let the chickens at them.
get a bag or something and wear latex/ equivilent gloves if allergic and dispose of those things.
dont let the dogs out unless you are right there to get them off those toads.
goodness I now remember why I havent moved back home, the frogs and toads up here give me the willy widgets. ewww eww ewww.

If you happen to have a la crosse stick handy, they make good frog catchers. Get a buddy to scoop while you open a bag for them to plop into. If it were me, I'd move them to a park or pond. If tadpoles are in something you can drain, do it, if not a capfull of bleach.....
