I’m fearful that I know the answer… these are my 15 week old black cuckoo marans. What’s the verdict on the ones on the left and right? The RIR that is at the bottom of the picture is the same age.

Assuming these are true cuckoo marans and not a hatchery mix you've definitely got three pullets. They're single barred (cuckoo marans cockerels should be double barred) and no sign of male saddle feathers coming in. And at 15 weeks I would really expect cockerels to have been crowing for a few weeks already.

Thank you! Our Rhode Island Red has been crowing for several weeks now. I have thought I maybe heard another crowing but was never able to catch it to know for sure. The start of wattles and bit larger comb made me a little worried.
