Thanks everyone for your kind words. We are working on getting some misters or some fans to their coops so they will stay cooler.

So sorry for your loss. We installed a solar fan in the coop last year and it seems to help when it's 100°. This year I bought a floor fan and also had a box fan, and got a new shadecloth that seems to keep it cooler in there. I put ice in the waterers in the afternoon. My coop is a converted greenhouse. I had misters in there originally, but they weren't very popular, so took them out.
