Today I met Opa!

Today I met Opa and Granny! We (well I) had a great time. Opa took us out to lunch for cajun po'boys. Granny gave me and DD a chicken pin cushion each (DD has yet to see them, so we aren't fighting over them.... yet). I got to meet Opa's DIL, who was so sweet and kind.

I even ended up with a couple of pickle buckets out of the deal! I made out like a bandit!

Opa's every bit as handsome, sweet, and gentlemanly as he seems online. Maybe next time I'll get to meet Mrs. Opa too.

One big letdown... I forgot to take pictures!!! What was I thinking?
