today is the day i fill our run with sand (pics)

I am thinking about doing 2-3 of them, probably not as long and not quite as wide, all though the extra space would be nice. How many yards of your special mix did it take to fill? Guess I better get busy so I can get something in the ground!

looks very nice! i'm jealous of your bag o sand - want one for myself but have no trailer! do you know how heavy it was? i would love to fill my run with sand - and i might enjoy the workout! ha ha...

it held .33 cubic yards and my DGF shoveled it into buckets from the bag and i carried the buckets into the run.

Your run looks great so fresh and clean. I bet they will love it for dust bathing too. I jealous of your garden. I've asked my husband for 3 months now to build me some raised beds. Today just might be the day. After moving all that sand I bet you and DH had a glass of wine and motrin for dinner last night.

this is the bag the sand came in. i would say that it is about the same size (mass wise) as 2 bales of straw.
