The baby ducks and geese were big enough, the grass was high enough, the older ones were hungry enough for grazing, and the moon and stars were just right...I opened the gates and let everyone out together to graze...they made a pretty picture on the very green grass in the sunlight...and they are peaceful together tho sticking pretty much with family groups...there are three groups, the older duck/goose group, the teen age White China goose group, and the youngsters consisting of two Pomeranians, four White China females, Magpies, FW Runners, Black Runners, Crested Rouens, Blue Swedes...
I check on them every half hour or so and they are quite happy together and just munching away or sleeping in shaded areas of grass...ya just have to love them...
