Good for you. We got our first six Saturday, and today went and picked up the remaining two. City ordinance won't allow very many, but i think we already have our hands full. My little erstwhile laundry tub cum rubbermaid brooder just isn't cutting it with eight little girls, two of whom are determined to fly the coop already. I'm going to start construction on the coop this w/e, but I may need to quickly build a bigger makeshift shanty for them! And I haven't even begun planning my garden starts. Going to be a busy spring around here.

This is why I built the coop/run first then the brooder besides it was easiest and I had time since I couldn't get any girls till March anyways I had plenty of time.
Good luck getting that coop/run built be sure to build it large enough for more girls cause you know you just can't stop at one.....order
