Soo what I thought was another what im calling "spangle" chick (brown with white wing tips and white feathers on the wing itself) but nope! What I thought was yellow wing tips is actually just the cinnamoniness that comes along with being that firey red downed cutie that is a cinnamon chick!

I am soo happy! Finnally... I got a cinnamon from my cinnamon hen! LOL! About 20 or 30 golden offspring from her and now FINNALLY a cinnamon! Took long enough! LOL

I am almost positive that's what this chickie is ofcourse I wiill know better when it feathers up some

The annoying thing is it's stripes are black like a normal browns, but it's base color is the fire red of a cinnamon....

and here is it with it's mama (as a chick) the base color is very much so the same (may be hard to tell here) but the difference is the stripes... its' mothers stripes were a dark red,....its stripes are black like a normal browns.... I'm really puzzled what this chicks going to feather out to look like.....it's like half and half! LOL!

Hatched a ton of tux x tux pure whites, and two really nice tuxedos I havent' got pictures of yet, as well as MORE goldens from the Rosetta x rosetta crosses lol! Goldens and jumbo brown chicks ofcourse as well oh and Golden ranges (another tibetan patterned bird very pretty...simliar in looks to a rosetta but without the stippling of the rosetta). This summer is going too fast already theres too many more breedings I wanna do!!!

Hi,

awwwww Niki, Sorry to tell you my good friend, but it's not a cinnamon. What you have there is just a lighter normal chick.

Once grown they look the same as any other normal bird.

When you do hatch a cinnamon, it is easy identified as such, they are more olive green with brown strips.

Hi Niki,

Sorry not around this passed few days, I was in Hospital.

Yeah, once adult you'll hardly tell the difference bewteen you "new" one than any other. So may be good idea to place a ring on this chick later on.
