my daughter has been picking up dog poop and cleaning out the coop and horse stall with her wheelbarrow for a long time, she loves picking up poo

Duckling picks it up with her hands.
When I had a coop just for the ducks, she was allowed to help me clean that. Because you have ducks, you know how incredibly wet they get the bedding. Since it was more wet than dirty, I didn't worry about anything getting into her lungs.
Since the chicken coop is clean now, and the ducks are in another pen, Duckling is primarily in charge of raking the coop. I don't think I'm going to do deep litter again. It's too hard on me anymore. So, when it's time I'll have her help me rake the bedding to the front of the coop. She should be able to scrape stuff off the floor, and even use the hose.

The following companies make all-in-one cloth diapers. They have velcro or snaps, and are for 0-18 mos on average. They cost as little as $5 at Walmart. They average $20 though.
