Toddlers are Quackers

Husband got home last night. His boss texted him on the way home, asking if he would go to another conference (this one stateside) not this week but next. It'd be his 4th since July, and his third in 10 weeks. He said no to this last one. REALLY hoping the "no" sticks this time. Kids are very cheerful today/

 I saw a commercial twenty minutes ago that has me wanting to sue. Now I'm watching a Sensodyne commercial that makes me sick to my stomach. Anyone see the one where the guy spits with every "p" he says? :sick
I really shouldn't watch commercials.

LOL MC.

My son has decided he's terrified of Halloween decorations this year, so we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows instead, and will watch Monsters Inc after their bath.

Which my husband started. Without me saying anything. Which is completely normal around here, but after 9 days without him, is one of those big "little" things that often gets overlooked.

How old is your son?

I'd had issues with Bath Fitters in 2007. They kept canceling appointments, and had the audacity to say I was unreasonable because I couldn't work around their schedule. I asked for an estimate for two bathrooms so I could know if it was worth the hassle. The woman gave an eighties valley girl huff, and said that they were redoing my bathrooms. I couldn't expect it to be cheap. I said I was no longer interested. I'd had enough.
Fast forward to 2015. Duckling was 10-mos-old (and walking),

and I needed a new surround in my tub. IE, wall. No one was available to do the work, so I called BathFitters. I was greeted by an enthusiastic piece of crap. He looked like he just rolled out of bed. Duckling wasn't loud or climbing all over me. She did require that I look at her periodically. The guy seemed annoyed that she was there. He wouldn't pause his questions while I was tending Duckling. He huffed if she cooed.
He didn't ask about soap dishes or curtain rods. I don't know what else he didn't ask about. I just know that I could have had a better tub.
Fast forwarding!
He give me the cost, and it was almost as much as I paid to have two bathrooms completely redone at my other house. New fixtures, paint, floor... and completed in a week. I said no. HE STOOD UP, AND GOT IN MY FACE! HE RAISED HIS HAND TOO! He told me that I had to sign the papers. That he wasn't leaving until I did. He also said that he was giving me $1,200 discount.
I did call the company. I did ask to cancel the work. They said the guy had not put in the work order yet. It would be canceled as soon as he did.
Didn't happen. Things got worse.
My mother called them (different state, different people), thinking it couldn't be that bad. She's overseen countless bathroom (and house) remodels. They were rude to her, and tried to bully her.

The commercial says they treat you with respect, don't try to talk you into something you don't want, and they don't offer limited time discounts.
I have more venom, but I've already complained enough. :hide
