Toddlers are Quackers

We’ve had about an inch of snow a time or two, but the salt trucks/plows didn’t have to come out. The salt trucks did have to come today. We were only expecting a dusting today, but got about a quarter inch or so. Enough for Duckling to make her first snow angel of the year. She really wanted me to make one. She even offered to brush me off. Then she began racing around with her shovel. She slipped on the icy driveway. She didn’t get hurt somehow. She didn’t stop running on the driveway either! :lau
It was so dark and cold, but she had to burn off energy. It was also a good time to bring out water. Hopefully it doesn’t freeze too hard for the birds to break through tomorrow.
Then.... :celebrate I don’t trust Santa numbers because there are some that are not what you want. Churches that are against Santa, or mean people that just want to be jerks. I’ve seen several bad reviews. It finally dawned on me that I have a large family. My youngest brother let Duckling call him. It was so funny! I could have her call anyone, and she’s fine. But this was SANTA CLAUS!!!! :ep :hide
I really appreciate my brother doing it.

Thank you. It took until about 11:30 for her to fall asleep. She’s restless now. :fl The child needs to stay asleep. Otherwise, I’m going to have to turn the living room into a bedroom. She can watch movies all day, and avoid meltdowns.
Oh my goodness! I recorded “Grandma got Run Over by a Reindeer” last Friday night. We’ve watched it 8 or 9 times already. For all her shyness, she even told Santa she was watching it last night.
