Toddlers are Quackers

Yep, you make sense, and luckily for her you have common sense, unlike her bios ...
And I am referring to people like her bios in my previous post, I am actually surprised they aren't on the phone with the Dr looking for the quick fix, but guess their version of a quick fix is to just drop her off for you to take care of. That's about as simple as it can get for their last a**es! And it reduces their exposure to health professionals who would recognize (and probably report) their pattern of neglect.

Me? Common sense?

So, it’s a fun morning with the germ factory. Coughing and sneezing in my face and clinging to me. Not so much wiping her nose on her arm. :clap
Bad mood, good mood, angry mood. :lau She hated the snot sucker. “How about we just use tissues?” You don’t like the snot sucker? “No! Let’s use these from now on.”
She didn’t want to go to the bathroom before going out (only long enough to water the birds), but it was the only way to go sledding. She just didn’t want to unzip her sleeper.
She was very happy with the sleds. The rope on the first needs replaced. She doesn’t remember there being a third. It’s in the back sunroom for feed only. Keeping it snow free, thus dry.
My jeans got into chicken poo. :sick
Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Lion and Big cat/Lion Pee/poop/scent are effective at keeping cats away. May work for dogs too. We got some from the zoo vet and it worked a charm
i order wolf pee online to keep bears away

Weeeee:weei won the art contest on BYC!
congrats!!

I see no problem, it's not like she has to drive anywhere or operate heavy equipment! Sleep is a good thing when littles are sick, and sometimes the break is needed for adult sanity also! How many folks actually believe all the liquid Benadryl is actually being used for kiddos with allergy reactions?? LOL
i agree completely!!
i really wish i could get her to even take benadryl -she says it makes her tongue feel funny, and the kids benadryl tastes HORRIBLE and does make your tongue feel funny

And this may not be a popular opinion, but I would rather let my kid be sick for a few days with good fluids and plenty of sleep/rest than immediately call for antibiotics. I see no problem with allowing their immune system do its job (within reason, critical illness needs addressed by any means needed).

Overuse of medications has created a whole new subset of problems, no one enjoys being sick or having a sick child but 'quick fixes' can come with a high price as antibiotics quit working because germs are adapting. Sometimes we are better off suffering through it.
this is a great point! my daughter was out of school all week, but when she spiked a high fever for no reason she went to the doctors to check kidney function (she only has one) and to make sure there was no uti or anything going on
needless to say no medications except tylenol and lots of rest and fluids
