I lost my dang mind and not only calligraphed but painted an award "scroll" today. With kids underfoot. My daughter looked like Braveheart, only with burgundy marker instead of blue paint (she was close by, content, and safe.)

Duckling thinks her Uncle Bill died. She says he’s her cousin. She doesn’t have an Uncle Bill. I take that back. I just remembered we do have a cousin Bill. She doesn’t know him though. He hasn’t been around in about ten years. Yes, I explained it was an aunt that passed.
I asked why she was suddenly in a bad mood. “Because I don’t like this school!” It’s been her opinion since she was switched to this one. Poor kid.
