Thanks for the suggestions. I have looked it up before, but should really look it up again. It could be too many things.

Duckling has been potty trained in the past. Back in like March, she didn't have any accidents for several days in a row. For almost 2 months she did very well. When my brother-in-law died, I did not see her for a few weeks. Potty training has not happened since.
Trying to get her back into it, I am willing to give her M&Ms. As extra incentive, I ask if I can have a reward when I go potty. Finally got her to sit on her potty this morning. Since she had already peed in her diaper, I decided to go ahead and put on a pull-up. I have them around anyway, I may as well use them. Personally, I am more into cloth training pants and rubber pants over them. It seems kind of pointless since she is not doing that well. Anyway!
When she went to sit on her potty a bit later, she kept calling it a diaper. The obvious reason I do not like them. I told her to pull it down like a pair of shorts. Later on, I asked her to put her shorts on so we could go outside. She took her pull up out of the trash.
Telling her it was like a pair of shorts was obviously a mistake!
