here's a question, the meat bird is 22% protein and the starter (which I need anyway for the new chicks hatching soon) is 24%..... can I just feed the ducks the starter with the mama and chicks?

You can. You can also find a better meet bird feed! It should be around 28 to 30% protein. Adding dry dog or cat food will up the protein.
 
Hello folks...am at work, so just checking in when I can...

I know corn is known for high calories /heat production, but will it increase muscle mass (edible weight /meat) or be stored as fat? Fat adds weight and flavors but doesn't increase edible muscle. A balance would be my goal.
