Toddlers are Quackers

Daycares do two hours. I do it four times a day assuming she is holding it. Well, with the cheap diapers, it's more like six. She is a good sleeper though. 13 or 14 at night, and 2-3 hour nap. Yes. That is a lot.

good morning we got a crazy storm this morning, and my leghorn tried to give the broody another egg.... I almost want to reset her with egg I think will hatch I did witness DOctor Roo get freaky witht he leg horn yestersay soooo Do I leave what she has or swap everything out?

Apparently, my rooster wasn't put away last night??? My daughter said he was being a jerk to her and her dad, so they didn't put him away. :hmm

Why isn't he an *** to me? haha

He's a cochin male. He'll be 1 in feb.

I've never had him do anything to me, but my daughter has pestered him a little bit, so he gets fiesty with her every now and then... I guess my husband punished him by not letting him sleep in the coop last night with the girls for being a pooper to my daughter.

He's not really mean though, my daughter also makes a point to chase him around trying to hold him instead of leaving him alone. He's a very respectful rooster if you don't mess with him. He also sometimes doesn't want to be put away early, so sometimes he gets upset about them trying to catch him to put him away.

I haven't had that problem with him, but he likes me I guess.

Princess is starting to talk more, but it still comes out all mumble a lot of times. She has become clearer on words she uses often, but throws a tantrum when I don't quite understand her. We stick to Huggies with her, hardly any blowouts, and change her for every poo and saggy diaper. She seems to be a bit sensitive, and she also is still in size 3 diapers. She shows a little bit of interest in potty training, but DH, who is with her while I work full time, isn't ready for all out training untill she consistently tells him she has pee diapers, to which she doesn't. He's the one at home most times, so I just defer to him about it.

Good grief. That didn't teach the rooster a thing.

Great! Duckling has tried to get her parents to take her to the bathroom. They say that she should go in her diaper. We were in the Chinese buffet, still standing as we got there. No reason for refusing to take her, and they were in my way. I couldn't get to her to take her until after she was wet.

My husband just didn't want to chase him around and deal with it. He's not big on the chickens. I don't know why he didn't come get me to help though. LOL

Princess won't give us enough signs yet. When she goes diaperless, she seems pretty surprised when she pees. I think she would be ready if we watched her carefully and helped her notice what was going on, but a lot is up to the DH, and his pain syndrome means he doesn't notice subtleties much, so she needs to communicate better with him. Huge pain, but we got through with the other 2, so it will be alright. I hope Duckling's seemingly lazy parents get a clue for you. Once potty training starts, it's a team effort!
