Hi

here are my two monsters

Braylee Elaine (3y1m) & Braelyn Alicia (19m)

I would definitely see about getting her tonsils removed. I stayed sick constantly the first few years of my life with strep throat and awful infections. After I had my tonsils removed, I was hardly ever sick. I still only get sick once in a blue moon, and when I do get sick, it's nowhere near as bad as it was before I had my tonsils removed.
You have absolutely beautiful children!!! :O

They don't routinely removel tonsils anymore - although I do agree that chronic sinus infections and strep it may help. I had tubes in my ears as a kid and am now constantly getting sinus problems due to allergies.

Her infection was related to allergies, so they never mentioned more than benedyrl as a preventative.

You may need a better doctor. No, I'm not a doctor.

I just know what my sister went through until an ear, nose and throat specialist finally looked at my mother, and asked how several other doctors missed the obvious. My sister was a much healthier person after that.
We've taken her to a few specialists... but no one wants to remove tonsils unless it's a last resort.

That time of the year, huh?

Unfortunately :\

Yeah - well down by the border, with people able to just buy antibiotics over the counter in mexico, we get exposed to a lot of resistant strains of infections down here, that don't respond to antibiotics, due to people abusing them or not using them correctly.

A monster problem that we are making for ourselves.
It is predicted that due to antibiotic resistance, resistant bacterial infections will become a major cause of death again by 2050. It will be like the pre penicillin era, when you just die of a "simple" chest or wound infection. MRSA is just the start of it.
