Toddlers are Quackers

I got tired of her refusing food, so we sat at the table, and I waited. I told her she had to eat, but didn't use an authoritative tone or over speak. I didn't want to confuse her.
Finally, I began the timer. It took almost twelve minutes for her to tearfully eat half of what I gave her (I served her as much as I see her eat of food she likes).
I'm not sure who won? Me because she ate, or her because she didn't finish. It's been a long time since I've had to do this battle. I have not missed it!
i have this battle everyday, multiple times a day

I use Tropicana containers for iced coffee and sometimes cool aid. I buy Motts apple juice in the gallon jugs, so the oj containers come in handy there too. Duckling likes to help, and buying half gallons of milk gets a little old. So...

The creamer is 2 quarts, while the juice is only ... I think it was 54 ounces.
The shelf above is hers. Her filled sippy cups, individual cheeses, and yogurts go there.
We reuse the gallon milk jugs in the same way. lol
What's with the egg all the way to the right..the font one?

Ab-bee?

I hated that battle so I gave up.
I figured out my kids will eat when they are hungry.
I stopped forcing them around the age of two.
All are healthy and have normal weights.

Do you seat together for family meals?
We eat every day breakfast and dinner together, in my eyes it is very important to begin the day together and see what are the plans for tge day, and finished it to see how was the day and if they need any help or some other intervention from us.

I began raising the first 21 years ago. It was annoying then. It's worse now. I took too long (and I still forget to) to say, "I am not a part-time sitter. I must treat her as my own." So she gets what she wants elsewhere, and I am now enjoying the battle of the age and the other adults.

It's just a wrinkled shell.
Ahbigail. And when you say Abi" it is pronounced the same way you say, "Abigail" without the "gail" So, "Abi" is not really "Abbey". It's "Abih" "Abby" gets a Jersey accent!
