Toddlers are Quackers

oh no speaking of cranky sleeping toddlers, my Killi just got woken up by his screaming brothers(they found a snake and want to feed it to the flock) this was his second nap for the day and he still is cranky and not having any of it

Poor baby! Duckling gets woken by the adults. They don't understand why yelling is unnecessary. Let alone how it is wrong to expect someone to sleep through it. We learned to sleep through some noise from siblings. Not screaming matches though.

exactly Killi can manage to sleep through most things including crazy dogs that think EVERYTHING is a monster out to get us, but when the big come in and jump on the couch and scream about a cool snake its all over

Trying to figure out how long Duckling will make it. Long naps don't usually affect bedtime. I'm looking at 7:30 bath, then upstairs. That is fifteen minutes from now. We will see.

good luck, I try to aim for everyone in bed by 930 little ones get 830 (unless daddy has the day off in the morning)

usually I find double or longer naps have litter baring on bed time though I co-sleep with Killi and sometimes Bird so often it's when I can get to bed that he will go down

OMGS the smoke alarm that is a pro napper. yeah I have an ancient senile ShihTzu (he is Bugga's companion) a 3y American Pit Bull female (belongs to the Bird or rather Bird is her baby and no one and nothing even monsters under the bed can look at him) and then there is our black German Shepherd 10m who has the idea that if it was not here when he came to live here then it does not belong and must be gotten rid of in the most horrible and loudest manner possible.... I also have a pride of mousers (3 adult cats ranging from 1y Baymax black male, 2 Kitkat grey tiger female and 7ish Twitch our top huntress also grey tiger) and 4 bottle kittens.......... yeah I'm a touch crazy

Rofl just a smidge! Sounds like a fun place, so run down on all animals? C'est possible?

I stood above her, watching her sleep. I was trying to be quiet, but I think she heard my heart breaking. I couldn't stop crying, and begging God to not let me lose her too. I've been so desperate for relief lately.
I can't find the words. I just know I need to be free to open the curtains and work outside without prying eyes and wagging tongues. Just that much would ease the strain.
Now I can't sleep.
