You could give her more then one egg, that way if a couple aren't viable it's not all in vain.

i would save up a few and place them in front of her, she will pull them in
i may also take away the oldest though, because they would not hatch at the same time

I found 1 fresh laid and another still slightly warm and marked them she didn't seem to mind at all LOL
