She went to bed without a whimper. It was actually a pretty good day. Scary!!!

on the bright side I just candled eggs and we have lost one it just disappeared and one is a dud but we have two developing chicks!!

The "missing egg" brought it to mind. I know the broody ate it. I think it's kind of cool that she knows it's a bad egg, and eats it rather than letting it spoil. I suppose in the wild the stench would attract predators.
