Toddlers are Quackers

alright thanks

I have been getting these things since I was pregnant with Bird 4 yrs ago and all the Dr terms me is that I need more sleep

I never had migraines either, until I had my first kid. I've been plagued with them ever since, and it doesn't matter how much sleep I get.

exactly I could sleep for 20 hours a day and would still have them. I go through a mini ritual whenever I feel then coming on, check my caffeine intake make sure it's not withdrawals from not enough coffee, next make sure I have eaten something, then hydrate hydrate hydrate. And next start with herbal tea and I still end up dead on the couch with the kids eating all the Coco puffs straight out of the bag

Sounds about right. I've been checked for seizures and other disorders, and they ruled my migraines allergies/hormone flare ups. I have other triggers too - bright lights, things that trigger seizures, will also trigger migraines in me. including the auras. It's why they had to rule out seizures, because when they did the blow test, for absence style seizures, I failed it in office, but the EEG didn't show it registering as a real seizure even though my body would trigger from it.

My poor DH suffers from something similar to a constant migraine state all the time. Knowing how he feels, I wish there was more I could do for chronic migraines too, but he mostly shuts himself away all the time unless he has to help with kids. And the kids aren't allowed to scream in the house ever...

really why not I see so much on it I thought everyone did it and you were supposed to

We candle incubator eggs because we have to check for air cell growth, and unlike a broody, we don't know if an egg is a dud.
If you candle a broody's eggs, you risk her leaving the nest because of too many interruptions. Not to mention, we can; contaminate the egg with our dirty hands, drop the egg, crack it with the flashlight, or toss one we mistake as bad.

iT IS! LOL

Okay!
I will chatter about them later.

Did you guys know that acupuncture has been proven to help some people with migraines?

If you felt like running away to Montana, my folks have a small 2 bedroom place coming up for rent next spring/ summer when the current tenant leaves for college. It has enough room for chickens outside, although there is no chicken house currently. It gets cold here though, even where we are at it will get to -30, sometimes -40 degrees Fahrenheit.

I wasn't going to say anything, but you kind of brought it up.
I have had migraines since I was a small child. I have never had a seizure that anyone knows of. At this very moment, I kind of wonder if fracturing my skull at 13 months didn't have something to do with it? However, I seriously doubt it.
My sister that is a year older than me, does suffer from seizures. There were a few thoughts as to when they began and why she has them. One question that the doctor asked my sister, was if anyone suffered from migraines? It turns out that had we known 30+ years ago what we know today, I would've been diagnosed for my migraines. And, my sister's seizures may not have become as severe had she gotten proper treatment sooner. Had we known that my migraines were connected to seizures, she could have been aware of the signs.
I often wonder if certain things that happened to me are actually seizures? I don't care enough to go through testing though. :D
Auto correct strikes again!
