Toddlers are Quackers

Anyone want a 12 year old who HATES plain oatmeal, proceeds to make TWO packages of it, then whines because it has no flavor?

LOL!

He also keeps locking his little sister out of the house when she's going out to do her chores. I've had to get up 3x in the last 20 minutes to unlock the door.

I'm about ready to duct tape him.

:barnie

Do you know that my oldest is more work than a toddler? or his three younger siblings put together?

my mother in law swears he's the easiest of my three of them, but all he does when she's around is eat food, watch TV, and sit and do nothing. LOL

She of course, won't let him come visit her, or stay longer then a few hours though. She stayed him with once at my house for 6 weeks before my oldest DD was born. It apparently drove her to drink! LOL

Oh! I get it! He's the easiest because she's drunk! Gotcha!
haha, my grandma used to have these fond memories of my son when he was a toddler/little kid... then she came and stayed with me for a month. By the time she left, she told me "I take it back, he can't come visit anytime he wants. I don't think I could handle him, I think I'd probably strangle him."

LOL

Duckling never liked baby oatmeal. Booger Butt didn't eat it until he was about Duckling's age, and it was blueberry. For the life of me, I can't remember why we offered it to him again. Maybe it was winter, and we wanted to try.
Anyway, I can't get Duckling to eat oatmeal. When I see the baby eating oatmeal in the commercials, I get jealous.

Wyatt didn't like it as a baby. He started eating it because his brother would eat it, and he'd try it, then decided eventually he liked it.

I offer different foods to my kids, but i don't force them to eat things they hate. I find that just by making it not a big deal to keep trying foods, sometimes they'll start eating things they wouldn't before.
