BUT i use my spigot all winter unless the pipe freezes soooooo

is it always on or do you shut it off when not in use?

The hoses leak at the spigot, so the spigot is turned off outside.
The main shut off in the basement stays on until I have to shut it off for the winter. I turned it off last night.

yep, kinda. Had to go milk the goat, let the chickens/ducks out of their pens. I have to fix a fence because the ducks apparently can squeeze through 2x2 field fencing. (The adult chickens can't... but the smallest ducks can.)

So, gotta put up a thing of chicken wire. LOL

That's on my agenda today. After that, I have to finish up some work so I can get paid this week... I'm way behind.

luckily my client hasn't yelled at me.... so I NEED to get it done today before he gets irritated. haha

Ran to the post office, the eggs weren't here yet, I told them to call me tomorrow, if/when they get here, since I may not have my car and may need them to drop it off. They are good about that, as long as you warn them.

That's getting cold. Our pipes did okay in the winter in NV, until it hit -20 one night. Then ALL our pipes froze... including the ones in our well house. haha
