Thank you. I think she is happy even when she is not happy here. I may not get to take her to the local amusement park(s) that we have within an hour, but she has to be happy not being sleep deprived, yelled at, and ignored.

I just wrote a novel! LOL! Summary. I get to teach her the joys of trying new things and playing outside.

She's very lucky to have you.

Mine love playing outside. It's so good for kids to play.

I don't have any old pictures really, my mother and I are terrible at remembering to take and save them. I agree that being outside is the best for kids, princess accompanied me to the barn to care for my folks' horses and cows today, and I think dad already taught her to respect the electric fence, lol. She had pigtails, but she pulls them out when I'm driving! Some day she will leave them alone, I hope. Duckling is super sweet! She's so roly poly, I wish mine had a bit more meat on them. Princess finally moved to size 4 diapers, but she practically swims in them.

Thank you for the compliments.
Princess will bulk up when the time is right. Hopefully, she will not end up over eating like I did. My parents were so desperate for me to gain weight, they forgot to make sure that I learn the proper way to eat like my siblings.

The nice thing about most kids, is they'll regulate their own diet and as long as you don't over-feed/force feed them as babies/toddlers, they'll usually continue to eat as their body signals them. My youngest has had the hardest time gaining weight. We add healthier fats to his diet, like peanutbutter, and I pump milk for him to make sure he's drinking good calories. (my milk has more calories per ounce, then cows milk would, but goats milk has quite a bit, too, which i'm working on weaning him too.)

It's definitely about quality of the calories if you need to gain weight, rather than forcing amount.

I think that's one of the reasons we see so many over weight kids, is parents think chubby kids are cute, and don't realize that lean toddlers/young kids, tend to stay that way, it's really hard to lose all the "baby" weight once you're not a baby anymore.

How old is she? i just had to move my 7 month old to size 4 diapers. She kept leaking in size 3's over night... She's almost as big as her 2 year old brother, he can still wear size 3/4 diapers, and 2t-3T pull ups. he's in 18-24m clothes.
She's wearing 12m clothes at 7 months. *she's 7 months today!*

She had a 12-18 month Halloween costume this year and it was *tight* on here, and my 2 year old wore a 24 month one and it fit perfectly. I have a feeling she's going to be out growing him pretty fast.
