:gig I really needed Duckling today! Of course, had she been here it would have been a different story. Bottom line, I was trying to feed and water one-handed. My other hand was occupied with my coffee cup. I was so determined to do everything one-handed, I ended up with a wet foot. Since I was not actually entering the coops, I was only wearing my sneakers.
By the way, I had to break ice out of the water bowls again.

I have found that when doing chores one handed, it is best to only bring one gallon of water out at a time.. Bringing two at once does not end well.

It also helps if you actually have a feed scoop, rather than just scooping it out with one hand- That takes quite a while.
