i like the idea of the tarantula. maybe show her videos of them online first to see if she likes the real ones as much as the plastic one

Yes. She arrived Thursday, and will be here until this evening. After the snow starts. And she was sent with a jacket. No hat. Who needs a hat in the cold?

Thus it begins. The first year, she was sent naked except for a onesie. Not a sleep n' play. A onesie. My m-i-l had purchased a coat and snow pants for her. She was in a onesie. Then around March they put a coat on her. Until about July.
Last year she didn't even have boots. The coat showed up around January. Maybe February. Hat and gloves were hit or miss.
This year she was in a heavy shirt and jeans in July during a day it was about 98* and her mother was complaining about the heat. Now it is cold (yesterday was but a dream) and she keeps showing up...

Sorry. I keep hoping they will change. BTW,

they had a raincoat in her bag for about a month. Then it rained last week. They had just taken it out.
