Toddlers are Quackers

My son was so obsessed with his thumb that he refused to nurse and weaned a little after 1. He didn't much care for milk, still doesn't.

My toddler has hit and miss days where he still wants to nurse, and wants flavored milk. He won't drink chocolate, or strawberry milk either. It has to be flavored with the packets you put in water, like berry or punch. LOL

Duckling woke, and was kinda... confused. Perhaps just in need of affection. The game of waking, screaming until the dog barks, and I roar... Then being held for a quick hug and kiss as I get her out of the crib. It will be an adjustment.
She crawled into my lap, and kissed me. We cuddled for a few before her new coloring book caught her attention.

Phage, my area doesn't sell any of the tests. I actually have been looking for the test kits for... Gosh! Eight years. Since my husband's doctor told us they were good to have. Amazon has them though.

So can you order some or would it be easier if I had some sent?

I've never let any of mine sleep in my bed. I did put a cradle next to my bed for a few months until they were old enough for a crib. I never took the sides off the crib either. I put them in a big girl bed once they got really good at climbing out or started potty training. We've had different 'needs' for the big girl beds. One of them absolutely needed a railing, one of them had pillows on the floor for a couple months till she got the hang of not falling out. The last one never really fell out, but by then there was a big dresser shoved up tight against 1/2 the bed that I think gave her a sense of security. (Yes,my house is freakishly small!)

@kajira ... Fruit punch flavored milk sounds really, Really, REALLY gross!!!

I'm not judging, I'm just curious how trying that ever came about? I've got 3 & not one of them ever thought of pouring anything but chocolate in their milk.

It's funny to me that all cribs are convertible anymore. And I so miss the drop down side!!
I don't see buying a toddler bed, but I am happy for the low crib. She doesn't have a rail. There is a storage chest next to her head, and if I must, I will put it next to her side. But she didn't fall out last year when we tried this. And, she was fine during her nap.
The next step will be a toddler alarm clock. Its face turns green when I will allow her to get up.
I have the rail off because of potty training. We seem to be of similar mind on getting a toddler out of the crib. We went from bassinet/cradle to crib to bed. If we fell, we learned! Or our parents did.

Princess's bed. She has a blanket, she has dragged it off somewhere. There's water in those sippy cups.

I think that is what the toddler rails are supposed to be for her bed. I chose the one crib that didn't have the rail in the box. Of course, things were different two years ago.

There is a blue body pillow that smells like pee laying in my bed.

At ten, she cried for me, and said she was scared. She also said I had to give her milk. She may not spend a lot of time away from me, but it doesn't take long to learn how to get what you want. She wasn't scared. She was awake, and is used to others giving her a bottle to go back to sleep.
At 3:30 I thought it was 5:30, so I went to the top of the stairs, and felt around for the sobbing, screaming child. and she about broke my nose falling against me. She took FOREVER to get back to sleep! When I realized the time, I almost put her back to bed. But who has that kind of energy? LOL!
