Toddlers are Quackers

Hmmmm... I am trying to think about how to answer that without sticking my foot too far in my mouth.
I am broke, and I can't afford to feed her. I can go without television and internet, and live off of eggs and canned corn. I have to feed the animals. Duckling can't be forced to live like that.

Food bank?

You watch her for free, ALL the time - why can't they provide some food for her while at your house, why is it your responsibility to pay for everything when she's with you? They are the ones getting free childcare.

Good Morning Abi

It isn't a good outcome when I say I need anything. Picture someone handing you a cardboard box when your coop has been destroyed. It's pouring down rain, and 50 MPH winds. They then tell everyone that they delivered a coop for you, and you owe them.
Liz is right. I'll figure it out.
Anyone else wondering what is wrong with me? I'm not the great person I pretend to be. But I certainly don't mean to whine/complain/ air so much.

There's nothing wrong with wanting what's best for those you love. There have been times I've survived on toast and eggs, since I keep a crock of sourdough on the counter I can make fresh bread really cheap every day if I wanted, since the 25 lb bags of flour are pretty inexpensive, I get a 25 lb bag for just under 20 dollars. I suppose I grew up in a home where we preserved anything we didn't eat for later, made bread every weekend, and went without often. I'm sure Duckling will be just as happy with eggs and corn, seeing as eggs are one of the best foods for kids if you can get em to eat the yolks.
