Toddlers are Quackers

Haha! Yeah, but it would be worth it.

"We were wondering what you would say about us having another baby?"
Ponder, ponder. Trying to choose words. Don't get snippy! You can't say that! Oh my goodness! Don't say THAT!!! Shhhhh! That's true, but don't say it! OOH! I know!
"I would love to welcome another child into my home." See? You said it monotone. They won't understand your tone, but oh well. You couldn't tell them the truth.
"Oh, good! Because, you know. You'd be the one actually raising it."
  Yes! She actually said that!!

I would add that if they did have another that they expected you to raise that you would require legal guardianship of both children.

Wow. Just wow. Don't know how you keep your composure.

Because Duckling is my life now. When I chose to protect her from my husband 2 1/2 years ago, I lost my husband and the baby I was carrying. I called her parents repeatedly, begging them to take her. Her mother refused. So I took my husband's wrath until she finally let us bring her to them (they were at the mall) after a few days. It was too late though. My husband killed our child late Sunday night. He took off Monday morning. Though his timing was confusing. I thought he was finally done being angry.

Duckling couldn't have a better guardian angel.

I'm so sorry you have gone through all that. Glad you have duckling in your life and that she has you.
As for the husband . . good riddance to bad rubbish. Sounds like you are much better off without him.

I thank you all for your kindness. :hugs
They aren't pregnant yet.
The little brat just beat me at Candy Land three times in a row! It's her first time playing! :tongue Beginner's luck!!

Her chicks arrived. They are 12 weeks Friday. They stink already. A few days in the house socializing and getting used to cartoon noises. Then outside until one is chosen to hold during cartoons.

She looks very pleased with herself too!:p

I think that is the funniest picture!! :gig That was after the first game.
I didn't remember Candy Land being so easy. I was worried it would be more confusing. So glad to be wrong! We will surely be playing a lot tomorrow!
