I was hoping you brought cookies. We made brownie/cookie bars (Brookies) a couple days ago... Snarfed them all down & now my body is craving all that wicked sugar

You never know how long ten years is. And yet it seems like ten years ago was yesterday.
Ah distinctly I remember
It was in the bleak December
And each separate dying ember
Wrought it's ghost upon the floor
Eagerly I wished the morrow....

Actually, at this time ten years ago, I was sitting on the center cushion of the couch. My friend sat on the floor putting a patch on the next cushion. She was trying to figure out how to hide me where I'd never be found. For tomorrow I would wed. We only had a short time left to figure it out. Dave was hard to get out of the house, and wouldn't be gone long. You see, he was so adamant that he not lose me. He didn't want me to escape. Even the next morning...
Just talking. I'm going to try to forget what tomorrow is. Hopefully, now that I've said what has been on my mind, I can get through tomorrow without losing it.

It always helps me a little to vent. I hope you do something special for yourself today. That way next year you can say something like, "Last year on this day, I watched a movie marathon all day in my pajamas & ate pie straight outta the middle of pie tin with a fork."

Birthday season approaches! First is Princess August first, then the bulk of us from 28th of August to September 17th, then all done
