Toddlers are Quackers

Constructed Brooder 2.0 today (the cardboard box type of brooder isn't big enough or sturdy enough for winter chicks - they'll be inside at least New Year's, as opposed to out at 3 weeks with brooder plate like the first batch.)

DS4 ran around pretending to be a "boy grown up Brahma!" DD2 was a "itty baby Brahma chickie." Any guesses what breed of chicks they are most excited for? For a while, watching Brahma informative videos, it was "Mommy, why are they calling the bear-chicken a Brahma?"

DH vetoed a Brahma rooster. "We can't do a rooster that is bigger than the children."
