Toddlers are Quackers

After Duckling performed her second craft using a plastic needle, I texted my mother to thank her for teaching us that they existed. Yarn needles are dull in general, but the plastic are duller, and cheaper.
My mother taught us a lot of crafts. Even weaving on straws and fingers. We can all crochet a single string on our finger too. Unfortunately, none of us can crochet for real. I hope to remedy that soon.
They have crochet classes at our library but i keep busy quilting in winter, and now making signs!

Maybe he will grow?!

Lol, well I hope so! But not fast enough I think...they'll be the right size next winter. I keep planning on crocheting several slipper sizes to keep at the door for guests since our farmhouse floors are chilly in the winter. But that's one of many plans that don't ever seem to materialize!

So that peacock project yesterday? Apparently, my husband handed the 2 year old and the 4 year old a tube of glitter each. Just handed it to them. Didn't control what they did or clean it up after each dumped their entire tube of micro glitter.

Why, yes, at least two entire rooms of my house are now glittery.
