Lots of baking today. The birds were even given oatmeal with raisins and apples.

The only kid I had to wean was the oldest, because I became pregnant with the second one when she was a few months over a year. I dried up and had no milk left around six months pregnant, so I had to stop as it became too uncomfortable to continue. I also wasn't interested in tandem nursing. The other two weaned on their own.

Oldest was 20 months, middle weaned at a year, youngest at a bit over two. My son loved his thumb more than nursing, and just doesn't like milk much.
