While on vacation my chicken sitter called and told me news that I had a chicken with a big gash in her toe and it was bleeding alot. He took the chicken to his house and she stayed there for a few days (away from the other hens). He couldnt put her back because the other hens would peck at it and make it bleed again. It was not until today that I saw the toe. It almost looks like she broke her toe!
I am not sure if she needs to go to the vet or not. What would the vet do? Please Help me I really need advice!!
