Toe Problem

my 1 week old buff orpington/light brahma mix has a weird toe. i have seen my big chickens with thier toes like this, but not all the time. It is the last toe that is curled out.

Is this normal, is the chick ok, or should i take action. I personaly think she is fine but i just want to make sure.

It will be fine. Just watch the nail length as they can get kind of long.

My Light Brahma Leghorn mix had only one straight toe and she got around fine...it can be genetic or a hatching defect.
YOu could try making an orthopedic shoe for her out of a plastic container lid. Cut it into the shape of her foot and attach it with tape. Leave on for about a week and then take it off.
