Hi. I just took over a couple hens from a woman who shows them. They both have crazy curly long toenails. I get it, as they really don't know how to "chicken" and I assume they've never been allowed to scratch. So i cut them and was able to get them pretty short, but now they're just these thick nail stumps. Will they sharpen and become normal chicken nails with regular scratching/foraging?
