My Salmon Faverolle hen has her toes fused together. She has 4 toes on one foot instead of the usual 5, and on the other foot she has two toes fused together. She can walk on it just fine and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. It has been this way her whole life and she is just about a year old now.
Also, her legs aren't feathered out like her sister's and the feathers don't seem to be growing at all. And she's kind of nutty, she's a little slow in the smarts department. She trips over/runs into stuff a lot and just sits by the backdoor yelling at whoever is inside for hours at a time and she also can't stand being held for any amounts of time. Could this just be bad genetics?
Anyways, what I really wanted to know is if this toe thing will pose a problem in the future or should I just let her be her freaky self?
