She is a bluish irridescent colored hen that also has a red V on her neck like a shirt neckline would be. Any ideas?

My guess would be a mongrel for lack of a better term. The comb is wrong for common black chickens like australorps or jersey giants. The red neckline may indicate a black sexlink cross. A reddish(???) roo crossed a Dominique hen and wholla. If she has Dominique blood in her it does explain her comb.

Well, definitely not a pure Dominique since...no bars. It might be a Black Sex Link, whose mother was a Dominique.

Going to go read up on what a sex link is now. Thank you

Simply put, a BSL pullet is black with some red around the neck, whose mother is a barred breed, and father is a red breed.

The male BSL's will get the barring gene, but not the females. So the barring is a "sex linked" gene.
