i have the pour on Ivermectin. Should i also do dust on his bum and under belly amd wings with it? Or is that too much like double dosing him? I am gonna dust the coop this afternoon and replace the straw in there. Do i need wet bathe him first you think?
And just to make sure... 1cc per pound right?
My thought on the dusting part for him.... he has wry neck so doesn't dust bathe good on one side. I do have food grade de though... i could just dust him with that to help the itchies maybe? Til the ivermectin starts its majiks on him. We got him a monthish ago and i checked and didnt see anything on him. But now i do quite a bit. None of the other turkeys have anything on them but they will get dosed as well cause it wont hirt to worm them now anyway and just in case they may have a few mites from him. Last night we treated him for scaly leg mites and finally got him to cooperate and not freak out over his bumblefoot. Poor Cletis.
